Staff

IHRE students are supported by a network of professionals in the U.S. and South Africa with extensive international education experience.

The Institute for International Liberal Education (IILE) at Bard College supports students from North American institutions in the application, selection, and pre-departure processes.  The IILE staff also arranges the transfer of credit to students' home institutions.

In Johannesburg, the IHRE program is housed in the School of Social Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand.  IHRE has a dedicated staff and office which maintains primary responsibility for overseeing the well-being of all students participating in the IHRE program.  This IHRE staff team is a helpful resource for students from North American institutions as they work to fully integrate into academic and student life at Wits and adjust to life in Johannesburg.
