IHRE welcomes students from North America, South Africa, and students from institutions elsewhere around the world.
The application process and requirements vary depending on where students are currently enrolled in school. Please be sure to follow the appropriate guidelines for your situation.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Admission is competitive and space is limited. Students are encouraged to apply in advance of the deadline.

Interest Form
The first step is to complete an interest form. A member of the IHRE team will contact you to discuss the program, review next steps in the application process, and answer any questions.
There are a number of components required as part of the application process. Please allow sufficient time to acquire, complete, and submit all supporting documentation.
More specific information on the application process will be provided once you start the on-line application process.
All applications must be completed and received by the deadline.
Applicants should receive notification of their admission status within one month of submitting a completed application.

Wits students and students from colleges and universities outside of North American should contact the IHRE office in South Africa for information on how to apply to the IHRE program.
